School Clubs
At Bonneygrove and Millbrook Primary Federation, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. Our wide range of extra-curricular clubs provides children with valuable opportunities to develop new skills, discover their interests, and build confidence in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
A Wide Range of Opportunities
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of lunchtime and after-school clubs, designed to appeal to different interests and age groups. These may include:
- Sports and physical activities
- Creative and arts-based clubs
- Music and performance opportunities
- Academic and interest-based clubs
Our clubs are carefully planned to ensure all children have the chance to take part, explore new experiences, and enjoy learning in different ways.
Supporting Development Beyond the Classroom
Taking part in clubs helps children to:
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Develop teamwork and social skills
- Discover new talents and interests
- Stay active, creative, and engaged
Clubs also provide a great opportunity for children to form friendships and feel a strong sense of belonging within the school community.
How to Take Part
Information about available clubs is shared with parents and carers throughout the year. Details will include:
- Days and times

Where applicable, clubs can be booked via Arbor, making it easy to sign up and manage your child’s participation.
Working Together

Encourages perseverance and commitment
-
Strengthens friendships across year groups
-
Supports physical and emotional wellbeing
-
Enhances children’s enjoyment of school
Extra-curricular activities contribute significantly to personal development and help children feel connected to the wider school community.
Booking and Participation
Information about available clubs is shared with parents and carers each term. Some clubs are led by school staff and are free of charge, while others are delivered by specialist external providers and may incur a fee.
Places are sometimes limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure that booking forms and payments (where applicable) are completed by the stated deadlines.
Encouraging Every Child to Get Involved
We encourage all children to take part in at least one club during the school year. Trying something new can spark a lifelong interest, build confidence and help children develop important life skills.
