The autumn term has been very busy since the children came back in September. They have settled into their new classes and their teachers report that they are doing brilliantly!
The children have been taking part in a variety of curriculum activities from making Stone Age models, dressing up as Mayans, Romans and Ancient Greeks as well as drawing maps of the local areas and learning all about the very first flight. For more information on the curriculum be sure to view our curriculum newsletters for each year group on the school website under the 'Parent, Carer Information' tab. There are also lots of great photographs of what the children have been up to on our school Instagram account @bonneygroveps
We look forward to seeing you at the art exhibition we have planned on Tuesday 8th November 2022, children's art work will be available to buy from the KS2 hall after school for £7.

On every newsletter we will introduce a new teacher for the parents and carers to get to know a little better.
Mr Cook
'PE Lead and Year Five Teacher'
'I am Mr Cook, and I am a proud teacher at Bonneygrove. I was born and raised on the east coast of Norfolk, and I moved to Hertfordshire in 2016.
I started my teaching career at Bonneygrove and since then I have taught in year groups two, three, five and six. I particularly enjoy giving pupils the opportunity to undertake new experiences. Currently, I am the teacher of Kite Class and I lead Physical Education (PE) throughout the whole school.
Maths, PE and Computing are my favourite subjects to teach. My hobbies include playing and officiating football, running and reading. Some of my proudest achievements in running are reaching the Parkrun 100 club and running the London Marathon in October 2022. In the summer, I was lucky to travel around western Canda and enjoyed hiking to see many spectacular views.
Some of the exciting activities we have been taking part in this term!
