Supporting Learning at Home
Research has consistently shown that parental involvement in children’s education does make a positive difference to pupils’ achievement. Most children have two main educators in their lives – their parents and their teachers. Parents are the prime educators until the child attends an early years setting or starts school and they remain a major influence on their children’s learning throughout school and beyond. The school and parents both have crucial roles to play.
At Bonneygrove we strive to work as closely as we can with parents to give them the confidence to support their children’s learning at home.
We have tried to put together a range of useful resources to enable you to support your child’s development at home.
Please use the resources provided under each of the headings on the right.
