Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear visitors,
I am delighted to introduce Bonneygrove Primary School to you through our website. I hope you will find the information helpful and informative.
I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Bonneygrove Primary School. The children and adults work in harmony in all aspects of school life.
I know that selecting a school for your child can be a daunting process, and I realise how important it is to have trust in the people who take care of your child each day. Each staff member is dedicated and will always go the extra mile to ensure every child is valued, inspired, kept safe, engaged, and ultimately have the best educational experience possible.
Bonneygrove prides itself on having high expectations of behaviour and attitudes to learning to ensure each child reaches their full potential. The school has a creatively linked curriculum that provides the key skills in reading, writing and mathematics that are understood and explored in a broader context. The curriculum is enriched further by offering unique opportunities, including workshops, imaginative and creative curriculum days, school trips and personalised learning where appropriate.
At Bonneygrove, we offer a unique environment for all our children. The school is set on a very well positioned site, with many outdoor green spaces to explore. The school is lucky enough to have its very own wood, which has been developed to support our children's outdoor learning experiences.
At Bonneygrove, parents and carers are welcomed as partners in their children's education. The most effective way for children to learn is when relationships with children, parents and teachers are built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. Allowing our children to flourish and be proud of their achievements is our primary goal.
Bonneygrove Governors are part of our extended family and always make positive decisions that directly benefit our children and families. All our Governors aim to promote the highest standards of educational achievement, behaviour, safeguarding and financial acumen. Each brings additional skills and knowledge to their role, contributing to the growth and development of the school and seeing tangible improvements in the attainment and wellbeing of every child.
The website offers a glimpse into the daily life at Bonneygrove, values and educational experiences of the children at the school. However, there is nothing better than seeing the school in action; watching the children learn; the teachers' teaching will better understand what Bonneygrove offers 'the whole child'. We would very much like to meet you. More importantly, we would love to show you around our fantastic school and answer any questions you may have.
